Record Attendance at UKTRF AGM

Thirty Members and guests attended the UKTRF's eighth AGM, held on 21 June 2007 - a higher number than any previous UKTRF meeting.

The AGM was also noteworthy in that for the first time ever the meeting was addressed by two senior Government officials - Peter Kirk, Assistant Director of Aviation Security at the Department for Transport, and Paul Riley, Head of Alcohol, Tobacco and Holding and Movement at HM Revenue and Customs. A presentation on the latest aviation security developments was also provided by Frank O'Connell, the President of the European Travel Retail Council. Overall it was the most successful meeting yet held by the UKTRF.
