Record attendance at UKTRF Members meeting

On 18 January 2006, UKTRF Members gathered in London for the annual Members' meeting; twenty Members attended, more than the previous meetings in 2004 and 2005.

Those present enjoyed a comprehensive review of progress on all the current issues facing the travel retail business, including updates on the work of the European Travel Retail Council, the Duty Free World Council, the FCTC campaign, and the UKTRF itself. The meeting also provided the opportunity for questions and debate, and concluded with a buffet lunch. A Members meeting in January was first introduced in 2004 to provide enhanced contact with Members, in addition to Annual General Meetings, and has proved to be a very successful innovation.
