Aldeasa opens a second shop at Santiago

Showing continued resilience in difficult conditions, Aldeasa has managed to open a 609sq m shop in the arrivals zone within the international terminal at Santigao de Chile Airport, following the reopening of certain parts of the terminal after the terrible February 27 earthquake which claimed several hundred lives and caused massive damage to buildings - including the airport terminal.

European traffic +3.9%

ACI Europe yesterday reported that traffic figures for the beginning of the new year continue to show improvement at European airports, with overall passenger volume up +3.9% in January 2010 compared with January 2009. Overall freight traffic among European airports also increased by +20.2% in January 2010 when compared with the corresponding month in 2009.
